This is why I stopped fukking with Toonami when Naruto came out. They had a nikka hooked during the chuunin exam then they go and reset the episodes?? Ya boy had enough. By then I knew America got the episodes late, so I started watching the anime until they got to the filler, then eventually I found the goat manga brehs.

Toonami was brutal on how they fed us. Straight rationing those dbz episodes for years. I was in 4th grade when Gohan punched Cell in the stomach. I was in 6th when they finally showed Goku going SSJ3

as someone who watched the show when it came on network TV early saturdays before toonami/funimation picked it up, the intro was the worst kind of torture

Trunks was years away. Super saiyans were teased in the recoome episode but they never aired any eps past that. A nikka got so desperate I almost dropped money on those absurdly overpriced VHS fansubs at the import store

The internet spoiled it for me. See all those posters especially the one with all the super saiyans pretty ruined in surprises because i immediately seaeched for the subbed episodes.

I never really payed attention to the intro like that until i was already watching subbed eps. They really just threw that together, lol.
