If you ever walked the Projects and felt the real essence of street life and all that it brings forth, this was the soundtrack. Hustling all night, getting high, homies getting killed, catching cases, shootouts everyday ....man it still gives me chills listening to this album...

"Run for you life, or you wanna get your heat whatever
We can die together
As long as I send you maggot azz to the essense
I don't give a fukk about my presense
"

Some of the illest most troubling bars in hip hop history

:mindblown: @ that level of anger and disgust...P was painting ghetto portraits for his generation..

I'm lost in the blocks of hate and can't wait

For the next crab n1gga to step and meet fate

So, why you wanna end your little life like this?

'Cuz now you bump heads wit kids that's lifeless

I live by the day only if I survive the last night

Damn right, I ain't trying to fight

:wow:

One of the greatest albums ever. Grimey ass lyrics from Prodigy, Havoc, Nas, Raekwon and Ghostface. GOAT level production from Havoc and Q-Tip, killa skits and interludes. This album has no flaws.

Yeah, that's why I love the intro (Start Of Your Endin'), because P spit a lot of grimy shyt on that joint too.

"I used to drive an Ac and kept a Mac in the engine/Littles painted it black with crack sale intentions"

"It's the nikka in me, accompanied by the cognac"

"We do damage to limbs, in '91 stomping you out in black timbs"

I wasn't around when this dropped, but I could see why people say this classic came out of nowhere. This is leaps and bounds ahead of their debut, Juvenille Hell.

Near flawless album. Heard only one song for the first album, but them niccas put together a masterpiece. Easily on par with Rza best 90s material

Near flawless? That album is a perfect, flawless masterpiece...there is nothing that can done to make that album better...its perfect and a top 5 album all time to me

Greatest album of all time.

I'll take the production and overall feel of that album over anything the RZA did. Of course, I can see the argument to the contrary.

There was a time when I thought Hell on Earth was better...but there are about 3-4 songs on that album that just didn't hold up as well.
