yeah, dudes are lucky youtube and the internet era wasn't around 15 yrs ago. there isn't much evidence of folks wearing overalls with 1 of the straps off, clothes on backyards, or sweat pants with one of the legs up

my guess is cool j sonned gap and said if you want me in your ad im keeping my fubu hat on, maybe but i do know the owner of fubu said he begged LL to rep the brand and he wouldn't do it till he kept turning up to everyplace he was at so he gave in and finally said alright i'll rep fubu.

most brand owners wouldn't let someone wear another piece from somewhere eles but im guessing they wanted someone hot from the hip hop world
