What's the best option out there at $100 out of contract? I don't care about what android version it is. Its mostly just going to be used as a hotspot anyway.

Sidekick 4G?

Sidekick is your best bet or if you can cop a s2 on the low
I still have the T-Mobile S2, but still use that as a backup phone. This will basically be a modem that I will use as a hotspot. I think I am going to get the Sidekick then. Don't need anything fancy, just something that will grab that 4G HSPA+

:whoo: the LG Motion 4G IS GSM. I saw a sim card slot

You can't really beat that for $50. I have to do a bit of research to see if I can just put a T-Mobile/Simple Mobile/Straight Talk SIM in there and be good to go
