plus, I'm willing to see how he game plans with a QB he actually wants, and that is better than Morris was
Edit: our offense only looks like fly routes and zone runs because Duke was gone for the season and Morris does not know how to use the middle of the field on short/intermediate routes. Not to mention Kehoe is Larry Holmes status as an O-Line coach, and has been for some time
Miami can't compete with Louisville in the money department.yeah that's a pipe dream at this point, no way we're touching him with all that baggage IMO
IF Golden leaves, the only real big name I see us going after is Charlie Strong
He is being considered by Texas so he knows his worth and Miami is a stepping stone job.Miami can't compete with Louisville in the money department. He is being considered by Texas so he knows his worth and Miami is a stepping stone job.

Miami is a stepping stone job.

Dude is getting paid $3.75 million and Golden is getting paid $2.15 million. Miami only competes for coaches on the come-up and not already established coaches. Strong in 4 years has established himself.we can pay him as much as Louisville is paying him, its not that much
plus he would get first dibs on South Florida recruits which he already loves and is good at doing![]()
Nothing wrong with that but you omitted the rest of the message on why I wrote that.you say this like its a bad thing
when miami was busting everyones ass it was a stepping stone for jimmy johnson, dennis erickson, butch davis to jump to the NFL
miami adds trophies to the cabinet and the coaches beef up their resumes and move on, no one loses

Fans of any top school in college football feel "entitled" to have success. Why should we be any different? It's been over a decade since we made real noise.I think my fellow Miami brehs are getting a bit delusional.
We all do realize the team has gotten better every year he's been there, he's recruited his ass off, and has his best class yet coming in? Rebuilding, which is what's happening as we had shyt to start with, is a process, and ALL he's done is make step forwards.
Being this furious that your 7-win team just stepped up and became a 9-win team reeks of entitlement issues.
Because you don't make noise over night, especially coming off of over a decade of a program getting consistently worse, especially in the midst of an ongoing investigation that at the beginning looked serious. Dudes are yelling fire Golden like he hasn't IMPROVED upon what was there when he got there. What more can you ask of a coach than to be better than it was before and provide evidence that what's to come is even better? Increasingly better record and this recruiting class coming in is a check in both boxes.Fans of any top school in college football feel "entitled" to have success. Why should we be any different? I think the real issue is that people are looking at him as an X and O's coach and are very underwhelmed. He can keep bringing in talent, but if he can't beat anyone with it, it's pointless. We've had better talent than a lot of the teams we've lost to under Golden. The win/loss record you're bringing up is filled with nailbiters against teams that could never sniff some of the recruits we've fielded.Because you don't make noise over night, especially coming off of over a decade of a program getting consistently worse, especially in the midst of an ongoing investigation that at the beginning looked serious. Who's the last Miami coach that could say they accomplished that?
It's improvement. I can only compare Golden to the recent years of the program and be realistic about what the UM Football program was and is.I think the real issue is that people are looking at him as an X and O's coach and are very underwhelmed.
