While history is a fascinating thing and inspiration/ motivation can of course be drawn for it, why is emphasis never put on looking back on history to see where we have gone wrong and adapting to make sure we never make the same mistakes?

History always repeats itself and it seems we look at African history or Modern history such as Black Wallstreet so we can say "We was kangs mane" opposed to appreciating the history and examining what went right and what went wrong.

I've said it before and others like Neely Fuller have constantly said it but in a nutshell we love to brag about what someone else did but in reality we are losing, so what is there to brag about? Appreciate and give thanks of course but dont dwell on scoring 2 points with a dunk when we are down 500.
