Also with Nishino 100 in charge now, I feel like day and date/ more games on other platforms is coming sooner rather than later.

Nothing really changed like that, Hulst is in the exact same position as before, a guy on the same level as him got promoted above him as Totoki moved from running playstation to running Sony.
Totoki moved from Playstation Chairman to CEO of Sony
Nishino is now CEO of Playstation
Hulst is still CEO Studio Business Group (Games)
PlayStation went from Totoki > Nishino/Hulst to Nishino > Hulst
Now stuff like concord bombing and cutting all the gaas games probably prevented a world where Hulst is now PS CEO.
If Concord and another game had came out like Helldivers 2 he would probably be PS CEO.

TLOU and Spider-Man online would have both been well. If you are doing online you need to have games that ppl will show initial interest in. Reason why Marvel Rivals did so well. They had the IP to pull ppl in and with good gameplay were able to maintain
