Cosby ain't shyt. As a man I can't respect him after that heel turn pull your pants up bullshyt. On principal If a nikka said that to my face in my hood. I would check him. Since I can't check Cosby in person. I still gotta have them principals. So I feel like even though he ain't do it and I'm on his side for getting off. It should still be fukk Cosby after this is over.
Oh so you're one of the people who are still unhappy he asked the community to do better and didn't put lol at the end of his statement. I see. Because many a celebrity says what he said only they say it jokingly so its accepted. The minute someone is serious with it, sensitivity reaches an all time high.

I'll say this...people are still talking about what he said, which wasn't a lie by the way...while the folks that frequently make light of situations in our community, ironically so people would listen, are long forgotten.

And this isn't to discount white supremacy, because I know that's where emotional folks will take it, but there are definitely things we can do better to instill pride amongst ourselves. Somewhere along the line it became less about instilling pride and more about 'worry about what white folks will think'. Not the same thing. Everything doesn't have to come back to white folks all the time. That is the message I got from his speeches. But then I'm not the sensitive type.

.did a documentary in 1968 where he speaks about slavery, the intentional white washing of African history from American studies, white supremecy and systematic racism

.donated over 20 million+ to hbcus (the highest amount any black philanthropist had ever donated to a black cause)

.donated to the national museum of African arts and to the AA/African artworks conversation project

Don't forget Picture Pages and Lil Bill, educational shows for Black Youth.
