.....Google is no saint, and they are manipulating some searches that are politically charged and they have a bias towards, but something as random as "3 black teenagers" and "unprofessional hair" is just algorithms.

Like stated here, Google in fact distinguished itself from other search engines back in the day by the fact they had a search algorithm that will give you the most likely desired results based on past searches from users.
This issue is more of a commentary on society as a whole instead of google. In fact, in this case, google is a useful tool to highlight what a lot of people say doesn't exist. People will say that racism doesn't exist but you can use google which simply takes an objective algorithm and applies it to search patterns as a whole.
