If White people had invented Rap Music, it would already be CLEARLY documented and classified as either Hip Hop, Trap, Drill, G Funk and etc The criteria of what makes one sub-genre Hip Hop and the other Trap music would have been CLEARLY defined...

And everybody would be eating, because the fans would have the freedom to enjoy multiple genres at once with less of that "fave vs real" argument...

One thing I hate is when it comes to sampling in Hip Hop, it's made out to be solely an East coast thing. Yes, the east started the techniques but most of the best shyt from the west, south, midwest are also sample based beats.

Art progresses in thematic waves that respond to each other. Nothing happens in a vacuum.
