The year 3030

Lord Jamar has shared his thoughts about Action Bronson sounding like Ghostface Killah in a previous VladTV interview. The Brand Nubian emcee kept the conversation going after the "East Rider" rapper's recent beef with Ghostface, which started after our interview with the Wu-Tang emcee.

The New York emcee said that he feels like Bronson should apologize for biting Ghostface's style, and he explained, "I think [Action Bronson] is just trying to apologize for the s*** he said on ESPN. I want to hear [him] say, 'I apologize for all this time acting like I wasn't biting Ghostfaces' style.'"

Lord Jamar also spoke about other rappers who sound similar, including B.I.G. and Shyne, and the East Coast spitter also admitted to being inspired by Rakim at the beginning of his career, which you can hear more about above.

:lolbron: RC Cola. Not even Coke...RC Cola.

LOL at how all this stuff is coming to light. When others like @Billy Ocean and I were telling y'all nikkas "This Action Bronson cat sounds JUST like Ghostface and is deliberately trying to sound like Ghostface, from cadence to humor to rhyme patterns", we were getting hated on. Probably negged, too. Now these Action stans are silent as fukk and have miraculously disappeared without apology.

y'all talk about 6 Fraud and all that, which is understandable. I still can't believe the real hip hop audience, who proclaim to uphold the "true school", could allow such a biter like Action Bronson into the culture and cosign the dude. Blows my mind.

Don't Believe the Hype
I understand the analogy, but I f*cks with some RC Cola - especially to accompany my two chicken ramen noodles with extra hot sauce. That's just me, doe.

Personally Blue Chips 1 & 2 was entertaining to me.
Whether it's his or not he has a personality.
Which is what sooo many of these other rappers lack.

maybe he stuck out because he's white maybe because he's taken ghost's persona
but he was refreshing for a minute standing in the middle of 1000 leaned out trap zombies.

he def embarrassed himself and may have done irereparable damage to his brand

I get where you're coming from, but a clone is a clone. Whether trap or boom bap.

Action being exposed is a great thing for hip hop. Finally underground/"real hip hop" heads will realize that they've helped ruin the culture too.

Blue chips was entertaining.
Action has run his course and I can't see myself checking for him again.

His "I'm in a exotic location doing an incredible feat eating a bizarre meal" shtick has gotten really tired..

Plus the ghost thing exposed what kind of clown he is..

I will say blue chips has entertained me more than ...shyt..everything
