I don’t think that was his reasoning. His reasoning was that he got a degree and feel that’s the reason for his success. However, it’s still a very flawed way of thinking.

He’s not a black man, so he doesn’t understand how hard it is to get employment, even with a degree. He also doesn’t understand that someone getting their degree in the early 90s isn’t going to have the same experience as someone getting their degree today.

I just googled and this dude got a CS degree from UC Berkeley
