I don't known the context in which he said it since I don't know which clip you're referring to, but the concept of free higher education has nothing whatsoever to do with a perceived lack of intelligence of the recipients, be it black people or otherwise. It's part of a broader strategy of economic reform. Preventing millions of people from taking on billions of dollars of soul crushing debt and also eliminating the existing debt of over a trillions dollars of student loans is absolutely necessary if anybody is even remotely serious about addressing income inequality in this country.

You can't have a permanent underclass of skilled workers in indentured servitude for the remainder of their lives and unskilled workers being financially excluded from higher education opportunities as well. The power and wealth gaps will only continue to increase past the obscene levels they're already at.

You seem to have changed the reason for your aversion to such a proposal. In your initial post you said you felt Vlad was implying black people are stupid and needed free education because of it. And this last post seems to suggest your problem with it is because Germany's reparations presented to Jews for the Holocaust didn't include this, which like I said is a moot point given the differences in how education is funded between the U.S. and Germany.

So why exactly are you against the concept of debt relief/free college as a form of reparations? Or are you against the concept as a whole, not just for only black people?
