where goth is more "satan is my leader, demon worshipping, witch, wizardry ", conjuring evil spirits, séances,

emo - the world is a personal special type of hell, pain and everyone should burn in the flames of hell because people suck and need to die, nothing good is in the world, no cure for deep dark depression, finding "joy" in suffering, isolation or surrounded by other emos, society doesn't accept you so you internalize
goth- an adult emo. the world is hell, BUT hell is good and needs to be embraced. turn to the dark side and you can do whatever you want, there's no morals or boundaries, Nothing is taboo or out of the ordinary, the more weird that you are the better, black magic, dark arts, mysticism, drinking blood, no restrictions to what you can do because bad is good. goths don't care if society doesn't accept them, they thrive off negative energy and like self-inflicted punishment

Goth also have more of a fascination with the macabre as well. Death, reanimation, and all the imagery/mythos associated with it is a huge part of that subculture. Goth PAWGS in high school loved pretty much anything by Tim Burton, Jhonen Vazquez (creator of Invader Zim/Johnny the homicidal maniac) and The Crow.
