The Earth is an oblate spheroid, not a perfect sphere. This shape allows gravity to pull objects toward the center evenly, which is why people can live on all sides of the Earth without "falling off."
And gravity pulls everything toward the center, which explains why people can live "upside down" in different hemispheres without falling off.
