Same could be said about Diddy...

Is Dallas Penn on this one? He's really the only reason I download Combat podcasts anymore...
Dallas is probably gonna be there every episode since they got advertising now

I been fukking with Dallas Penn since the Internet's celebrities bodega video and ghetto big mac and he's the reason I started listening to the podcast but he's been mad annoying lately..he's taking the trolling too far

If he could go one interview w/o trying to be controversial, that would say a lot
He's not trying to be controversial. He's voicing his opinions. If you actually watch the interviews, he never goes out of his way to rant on any particular topic. Vlad asks him a question and he gives his honest answer instead of the political one.

they clowning the first Grand Puba solo album

i actually thought it was dope :ehh:
Everyone did. If they clowning it, it's some real revisionist history going on, cause it was extremely well received when it dropped

Word thats true Vlad is always looking for controversy. But theres def a mutual understanding... Jamar doesnt go out of his way but he always ends up speaking on the same shyt nonetheless :yeshrug:

That's kinda backwards imo. One of the biggest letdowns from early 90's political/conscious hip-hop was that these artists were supposed to be voices of our community & culture regardless of whether they had a hot album or not. Instead a lot of artists started compromising the ideals they had previously set forth in attempts to be "relevant" in the musical landscape. Either that or just had a hard time maintaining notoriety when their records stopped selling. He clawed his way back into the spotlight and he's kept pretty true to his beliefs, if nothing else I respect him for that.
lets not front like MANY of his "values" are exclusive and frankly elitist towards anything HE doesn't approve of.

Downplay c00nery all you want, but dude is flat out ignorant in other realms.

To me, during the In God We Trust era, Sadat X really came into his own and kinda became the front man (after Puba went solo). During this time, you started to see Sadat featured on other rapper's tracks
