Nah I don't like either extreme and I do enjoy the show. I just wish there was more finesse and ingenuity to Sauron's Ws if they want to stretch this out for 5 seasons.

Cate Blanchett was more elegantly statuesque than stoic.
This girl was just stoic, which rarely is a trait appreciated by audiences with a female lead.
Can work with male lead, because males often supplement it with an innate sense of power. stoic but you know they can explode with a feat of strength or power. Arnold can be stoic. Thanos can stoic
Somebody whose ass you know you can beat can't be stoic, even though technically her character can whoop our ass, her physical presence doesn't exude that power. You need a 6ft tall women like sigourney weaver if you want a woman to be stoic successfully. not a 5'3 sprite.
little people work better as the Joe Pesci hyper psycho unstable dangerous type than the innate powerful stoic type.

Bc simpin a single mom and lookin after her ain't shyt b*stard son wasn't it. He had some cool fight scenes towards the end but then you have him get one-shotted not by the final boss but by the number 1 henchman? C'mon man.

Could've at least gave him a cool origin story/hyped him up as the best fighter amongst the elves who got tired of the politics (or some shyt, idk), and explained it as that's why he was off simpin instead of giving any fukks about the world ending until the bytch got killed. I digress
