Finally made it through the first film after 20 years. It's straight.I love fantasy and sci fi films but them joints is like 3 hours + a piece

I finally bought this, and Hobbit. Started the first one last weekend and barely gonna finish it this weekend. 
Got about an hour left. It’s all right. I hate those fukkin Hobbit cousins. These fukks always starting shyt with their domino effect.
I hope they get offed.

I consider Fellowship a perfect movie. If you’ve read the book, it’s pretty much the best possible adaptation they could’ve made in terms of making something watchable that was also faithful to the book.
Two Towers and Return of the King had more action and were more entertaining but they also had some major flaws IMO. Fellowship was the last Peter Jackson movie where he didn’t go overboard with the CGI and excess and there’s just a certain charm and creativity to it that I think the other films in the trilogy lack

I love all the lord of the rings movies, yes even the hobbit movies. The first hobbit not as much tho.

About to finish up part 2, and so far I feel the same way about these movies that I felt for Star Wars: could’ve went through life without ever watching these. 
They just don’t appeal to me.
I’ll hold off on part 3 and Hobbits for another time. I’m hoping I enjoy the Hobbit trilogy more since it was one of the trailers that made me take interest in watching this saga.
