Black hair isn't meant for applied heat, dat can cause damage just like relaxers or perms. Ur hair pattern is made for curls why wld u want straight lifeless hair like cacs

I don't think that's the issue. She can get a perm if she wants. She should've used a brand that is already popular to african americans. There are plenty. I don't get why she would use a white brand. The only thing I've heard black women using from loreal was skin products including makeup and hair dye, not perm or other hair products.
