I heard that they’re gentrifying it to a certain degree. I checked it out when I was in LA a few years ago; It is indeed a really nice area, and it’s cheaper than the other hill areas in LA, with possibly better views. It should be no surprise that other races wanna live there (again).
Not reason it’s “cheaper” is because it’s mostly black and we all know real estate in this county love to devalue black homeownership

Its a hell of an area. I didn't grow up there but I jog once or twice at Kenneth Hahn or the paved track(Ingold Park) which is across the street in between Stocker and Mt Vernon Drive. My ex chick lived way up in The Dons(Baldwin Hills). Then you got Culver City to the north, Inglewood to the south, Leimert Park to the east:wow:
