The point is they deserve a hearing. You have to provide them housing while they are held.

well the law should be followed, and the law can be and should be changed, most of them cant qualify for amnesty anyways, whatever needs to be done to speed up the process has to be done to get them shipped out as soon as possible to send the message that people shouldn't come here illegally

the issue of housing cant be isolated from the overall issue as you are trying to do, the overall issue is what are they doing here and why do think they its ok to come here illegally, even if you find housing for them that does nothing to solve the issue and its just a signal of incompetence and a sign that there are more children coming

the housing issue is just the last step and fulfillment of obama listening to la raza and sending the message to these countries that he wont enforce the law,
it would have never gotten to this point if obama hadnt been trying to pass amnesty

people like you think there is no real consequence of massive migration aside from upsetting some old white people, you dont get that it will cause a new wave of illegals and it will cause chaos inside the country

:sas: The issue of housing IS what we are discussing in this thread. A lot of y'all are fuming mad over the housing of these kids, while they await their hearings. This position doesn't make any practical sense. It's a silly position to take, it only serves to satisfy your anger over the situation.

It just sounds like you are determined to tell me and other people what we are thinking, the issue in this thread is that resources for homeless American kids was being proposed to be used on illegal kids, did you not read the title?

Why shouldn't people be angry about that? You think the homeless kids should be understanding? You think politicians should be given a pass for allowing the question to come up?

Exactly. The other day my wife was telling me how ALL the kids and women coming over are all victims of sex slavery and need immediate amnesty. I'm sitting there like ? What kind of liberal propaganda bullshyt show are you watching?

The vast majority of the people coming over are just poor, but ambitious folk looking to achieve the American dream, yet completely uninterested in doing so the legal proper way. Most of them are actually PAYING smugglers and other folk to help them get here. LA Raza and these other pro immigrant organizations are truly disingenuous.
