Only thing I could possibly say in their defense is what does it mean when it says "He was unable to identify who stabbed him"?. Was he not in position to just point at her and make a stabbing motion like charades? Or to write her name in blood? Maybe he didnt want to get her in trouble. But I cant blame cops for not thinking she did it in that scenario .if hes simping so hard he wont say she did it.
I dont know if id tell on my righteous attachment if she stabbed me during an argument. Only because we have a kid involved. On the other hand the idea of her crying and smiling in your families face is hard to stomach

You dont believe somebody can love you,and simply not know how to handle their emotions? Those two things arent mutually exclusive. For you to relate you wouldve had to have blacked out before. Some peoples first "blackout" moment can end in stabbing your man. Or even beating a woman they love. People dont always know they have that side in them. Alot of these murders are due to this. A gun should come with knowledge of self training.

My ex told me she had a "blackout" when she ran me over(luckily I survived with just a big knee scar) and I'm sure that's true and all but it's not excusable behavior and these type of people dont belong in society they're a threat to everyone, unless they're fully recovered/treated of course
While this is true you also have to take accountability. In my scenario,has my righteous attachment ever stabbed anyone else? In your real life scenario has your ex ever ran over anybody other than you?
You cant play with peoples emotions and manipulate their minds. Then say people are crazy when you get a bad outcome. It falls under the "play stupid games win stupid prizes category".
And yes it is victim blaming in a sense. But we see these stories all the time. Something has to be said for playing with peoples hearts and minde. And getting yourself killed in the proccess.
Also "playing people" is subjective. I think it needs to be very extreme for you to place any blame on the victim. This is why i said context matters. I think weve all seen stories of women or men being manipulative,and end up getting killed by the person they were playing.every so often you say the victim was kind of asking for it.
