It really isnt...cant wait till RHJ and cmac get to play with no restrictions...kilpatrick will benefit from an offseason...It aint that bad after all :ehh:

Keep getting them on the floor, that's our #1 objective

Hopefully Marks trades Thad in the summer, I like Thad but he's someone who could get us a 1st from a team unwilling to pay the big money FAs.

Brook I can't decide on, because he's our best player who we put through so much BS with Dwight and he's carried us through this. But then his value will never be higher with his contract and the way he's playing. I think if Marks gets the right deal, you'd have to think about it. If someone paid 2 1sts for Mozgov, what could Brook on a cheap contract net?

:ehh: Brook is one of the few guys who has absolutely loved playing for the Nets and thats saying A LOT considering. He's also still getting better, he's turned himself into an above average passer after being a black hole for years. I'd keep him unless something huge presents itself.

I agree with shopping Thad but he's on a fairly good contract so I don't think its a necessity to move him

Agreed on Brook. I'd say unless they blew Marks away, you don't move him.

Thad I think more likely because while I like Thad, he's best as a 4th/5th option on a good team. And while we have some future hope, we aren't gonna be ready for that in the next couple of seasons. So if we could get a 1st to replace one of our lost ones, thats more than fair for us

Jigga with the Roley and the Vest
From Woj-

"The Nets new General Manager Sean Marks understands that big game hunting is a fruitless pursuit for the Nets until they've established a culture with a new coach and a real identity. The Nets are flushed with salary cap space this summer, but so is most of the NBA. Marks' plan is to spend the money wisely on the market; find value to build a franchise over the longer term. His mandate is to make Brooklyn appealing to star free agents over a period of time. But that won't come overnight. Marks is determined to find value on the market this summer. Find some singles and doubles before he tries to go out and hit home runs."

We're not gonna be blowing the cap space and giving max deals to Jennings and Evan Turner like king was going to do :blessed:
