There are no bad beats on this album, but some beats are clearly better than others. And that's when Nas truly shines (though he's ill the entire album):

"U Gotta Love It", "Purple", "Black Zombie" and especially "Poppa Was A Playa". All 4 are some of Nas's best work ever. The "Blaze a 50" beat is aight but the storytelling is so ridiculous that it's a definite highlight
