Louie I hate it had to be you but this episode you earned the title of being....Dude got the shyt beat out of him by a chick, gets assfukked by his girlfriend while wearing makeup and dumped in the span of 12 hours
like I said its not a comedy anymore and hasn't been for about 3 years. It's a dramedy but leans way more drama imo
last season wasn't funny either. the david letterman season was great, imo. i understand louie is going for something different, but i feel like he's slipping on the comedy and drama end

I don't feel like last season was meant to be out and out funny. It definitely seemed really autobiographical - he's told the story about stealing the scales on one of the O & A episodes where Patrice was guesting.
I definitely liked it though - the episode with the break-up letter was awesome, and the one where he finally bagged Pam was
I feel like he telegraphed all this a couple seasons back, when he pitched an exec the show he wanted to make about "The guy who gets fired from his job at the shyt farm"
Still think he's legit in love with Pamela Adlon, though.

This has been the weakest season so far. I love Louie (I thought last season was amazing). This season hasn't been good at drama or comedy. Hopefully it picks up
