Louis Farrakhan Joins List Of Extremists Praising Donald Trump » ADL Blogs

Nation of Islam (NOI) leader Louis Farrakhan’s 2016 Saviours’ Day sermon on February 28 at the NOI’s Mosque Maryam in Chicago, Farrakhan made anti-Semitic accusations of Jewish governmental control while praising presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Farrakhan delivering his Saviours’ Day sermon (Part 1) at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit

While Part 1 of Farrakhan’s 2016 Saviours’ Day sermon last week at Detroit’s Joe Louis Arena largely avoided the topic of Jews, in Part 2 of his sermon yesterday, Farrakhan stated that Trump “is the only member who has stood in front of Jewish community, and said I don’t want your money. Any time a man can say to those who control the politics of America, ‘I don’t want your money,’ that means you can’t control me. And they cannot afford to give up control of the presidents of the United States.” However, Farrakhan also distanced himself from a full endorsement of Trump stating, “Not that I’m for Mr. Trump, but I like what I’m looking at.”

The NOI’s Saviours’ Day provides Farrakhan with an annual platform to display his hatred for Jews. This year, in addition to his comments about Trump representing a break from the supposedly other Jewish-controlled presidential candidates, Farrakhan also blamed Jews, which he refers to as the “Synagogue of Satan” for the Iraq War and 9/11.

He's entitled to his opinion :manny:

Not a fan of his personally, but the NOI memebers I met in school were some of the coolest people ever. So I have nothing but respect for them as a whole.

People are entitled to express an opinion. They are not entitled to respect or even freedom from ridicule for that opinion

I guess so. I'm not going to ridicule his opinion, because I have some agreements with it. So it's whatever!

You have "some agreements" with the notion that Judaism is the Synagogue of Satan?

Unless I'm missing something I'm pretty sure he made other points as well. You know like this one

"Any time a man can say to those who control the politics of America, ‘I don’t want your money,’ that means you can’t control me. And they cannot afford to give up control of the presidents of the United States"

This I do agree with. Any other questions you want answered?

Based on the complete quote, the words "those" and "they" in that sentence refer specifically to Jews. So let me fix what you're saying:

I think you've indirectly answered all of my questions. :mjlol:

I know he was talking about the Jews in reference to political power and control; and yes I do believe their influence is unwarranted and not needed. How does this correlates to the statement of "synagogue of Satan"; When he used that quote separately, and not in continuation to the quote I recently referenced?

To be honest you really don't want to know my views of the Jewish community, so we should just end it.

There's a pretty direct correlation between Farrakhan complementing Trump for his relationship with Jews, and Farrakhan's belief that Judaism is the synagogue of Satan.

To be honest you really don't want to know my views of the Jewish community, so we should just end it.

Well, seeing as how you found nothing wrong with what Louis Farrakhan said, I have a pretty good indication of where you stand.
