Askenazi jews are german type jews. some even claim other parts of europe and they speak yiddish not hebrew. in no way a tribe speaking an indo european style language is in any way related to turkic tribes whose language is central asia routed and to those who speak HEBREW which isnt indo european.....

They fled there and have been refugees under the ottomon empire controlled lands since the spainish inquisition. But that doesn't mean they had a way better life they got taxed heavily by muslims or else they would be killed for not paying.
