Speaking as someone who's watched both Love Island US and Uk, Black women on the US version of the show definitely tend have a better experience.

The issue with the UK one is that the Black population is smaller and it seems that the UK LI team are not casting men who are into Black women, unless they are but the men decide to switch up once they make it into the villa.

At the end of the day, people are going to like who they like. These people are going on Love Island for the clout, social media followers and brand deals.
The "Love" aspect is all secondary.
On love island US a lot of men of different races liked Chelley. There was this one nikka on there Jeremiah who was black and pretty much every new chick that came on liked him. Then that hatin ass nikka Ace made sure his ass got voted off.

Ok but would you say these groups are more attracted to black men than white? Also I still think white women are more open to black men than this group. White women with black men is like how Asian and White men are.
Women are attracted to status, stability and smarts.
If you check the boxes they will be on you.

People confuse the dislike of stereotypical black folks (nikkas) with how people feel about likable, relatable upstanding black people.

Not all the time. I’m up in Toronto and there’s lots of white women with dusty ass nikkaz especially on the outskirts. I’m not even going to front it is starting to become rare to see a black male and female couple. A lot of black men and women here are in interracial relationships. Like majority of my guy friends that are black are with women of other races.

Yep. I find this to be a really weird article, particular from NBC the parent company of Peacock. But it seems that the media wants Chelley, Chris, and Olandria to look bad. And I think it’s because they are Black and did well on the show without being problematic or stereotypical. Anything to rile up the racists and incels.

BW/WM relationship as fake (even though the white couple appears to already have broken up).
I think the shyt was absolutely fake but not because bw/wm but because the show incentivizes people to be fake on this show. If they were really feeling each other like that they would have explored off the rip. I think they both saw a path to the win and then went for it. Bw/wm pairing if they got together from the jump probably is most likely to win the show because I think a lot of people voting are black women :hubie:
The media is mad at the breh Chris for being a “misogynist”
The Huda discourse was wild. She was the problem in every situation except for the shyt with Chelly (she did fukk up saying she brought Chris into the house for both of them). Hudas the problem and Jeremiah and ace get shyt on. Imo ace was salty all the girls were feeling Jeremiah and that he couldn't holler at huda. I felt Chris was super reasonable.

It's a show for women so I don't expect there to be rationale discourse about how the women might be problematic. Key example was amayah being extra and Huda being toxic.

Chelley, Chris, and Olandria
What is the medias issue with Chelley and Olandria though? They've been universally praised. Chris is getting fried cause he didn't just rock with hudas toxicity. The viewers want him to just "yes ma'am" her to death.

There’s more white people on dating apps that’s 1

They have a real hook up culture that the men and women both follow

Also white guys are usually from better financial backgrounds and grow to their full potential meaning a lot them are 6 feet and up

So if women are filtering out guys under 6 feet she’s gonna see a lot of white men
Don't get me wrong, I think apps attract a certain crowd of people to them im just going by what i seen on twitter and the fact the black men around me say they do better irl than on apps.

Didnt mean to imply black men are struggling nor do i think wm edge is due to any physical superiority, in fact i do agree with @IsThatBrothaMouzone? :whoa:

That’s what I don’t understand. Huda was toxic ass fukk on the show. I would still give hudas single mom ass the work though and keep it moving.

Absolutely. Her hiding her kid from Jeremiah was a red flag. Her taking America breaking her and Jeremiah as "there must be something wrong with Jeremiah" instead of considering "hey, maybe I'm moving crazy," but to be fair, the women were gassing up this line of thinking, not to mention all the hating Ace was going to. Talking about her lease being up to Chris was a red flag.

But I know it must be fire :ohlawd:

the white women with the dusty brehs are probably dusty themselves.

regardless of race people date those on their same level...
women generally try to move up a notch.
Men will date below them.

Race is honestly over rated and not the determining factor in how we relate to people.
Poor people focus on it because they have nothing else.

I agree they are probably fake. But so are Pepe and Iris. They haven’t even been seen together since the show ended so why not call out them too?

They use the people of color for all the negative discussions on toxicity and being fake while the white boring couples just skate by doing the same exact stuff. @KFBF The NY Times used Chelley as an example of a toxic communicator even though she’s nowhere near as aggressive as Huda. Buzfeed posted something about the Black women needing their asses beat. And yes they are in shambles about how Chris handled Huda and him not carrying her across the water. 😆

Nah when I seen her twerking with them cakes on Ace and how she was licking down Jeremiah in one of the challenges through his pants. You gotta be careful with bytches like her they will fukk your whole life up.

Now to make a disclaimer like I said earlier i do think apps attract a certain crowd and I think @jilla82 might have a point of the kinds of black men that might be excluded on these apps. Cause I dont have problems and no i dont mean chubby single mothers either.
