SMH...I thought some real shyt would be posted here but this is mostly crap.
1. I cant speak on the Beyoncé at 16 thing. Did he find her attractive and plan for later? Possibly. As long as she was an adult when they started dating though, not sure its an issue, but I agree it may be a little creepy. Don't know what happened with Fox. Some say she said it, he denies fukkin her. I never heard the words come out of her mouth myself.
2. I love it when Jay exaggerates stuff like 100% of other rappers and he's called a liar. White house clearance? Does that really mean he's cool with the President, as we ALL KNOW he really is? Can he just walk up in the White House at any given time? I doubt it, but to deny he has a personal relationship with the POTUS would be just plain stupid. He owned a percentage of the Nets. Period. Of course he didn't own the team outright, but damn isn't that still an accomplishment for a dude from the projects? As far as the handsome part, well....
3. Borrowed their style? I need someone to explain that one to me. Because I have heard all those dudes, and while there are similarities, there are also major differences. And as far as subject matter, none of those dudes was on that style that Jay came with.
4. Would we even know Bleek, Chris, Neef, etc if it wasn't for Jay? Bleek is a MILLIONAIRE. Fox was at least a millionaire at one time. Damn dude is responsible for putting these people on AND nourishing their careers while trying to maintain his own at the same time? Here I am thinking grown-ups are responsible for their own careers. SMH. Other than Rihanna and Ne Yo? Damn everybody cant be a star! At least he helped create two of them! Ya'll want him to hold everybodys hand forever?
5. Yet again, we blaming him for the antics of another GROWN -UP??? So the decisions Kanye has made cannot be attributed to his own character? WOW.
6. Why are we looking for a RAPPER to do so much for social change? This is not something we can expect of people. It must be your own choosing. Belafonte talks about artists from his time who got involved. That's nice, but that's what they CHOSE to do. And it was a different time. Also, our greatest leaders were not people who were famous and then used that fame to affect social change. MLK was not a rapper. Malcolm X didn't dance or sing. They sought social change, and got famous because of it, NOT the other way around. But doesn't dude have a scholarship fund? The water for Africa program? Giving out food to Marcy project residents during the holidays? Not enough huh? Yeah lets put the pressure on rappers and singers. Not PARENTS, preachers, and the politicians we actually elect to make changes.
7. Not sure what is the point of the last one. Yeah he was a drug dealer and now he's cool with the President. And? Niqqas, one of the most famous presidents EVER was helped into office by the notorious gangster Sam Giancana! The Kennedy family was CRAZY connected to the crime world. JFK's pops was a drug dealer(moonshine) himself! And this is one of the most glorified Presidents in our history!
Jay-Z has many faults like all people, but some people take it way too far. Appreciate what he does an artist, or not, and keep it moving.
