Low key if Tekken X Streetfighter is better than SFxT or even worse, SFIV; its over for capcom

if they can 'OUT STREETFIGHTER' street fighter, thats REAL bad.

SNK had to fall back after CvSNK2 was SO MUCH BETTER than any crossover they could do. Tekken 6 and tag 2 were both more polished than SFIV...if NAMCO can create ryu ken sagat and the gang in a game better than capcom can...when people are already seriously anti capcom today...they're screwed.

No, that would mean that a lot of people would switch to playing 3D fighting games. People aren't gonna give up Street Fighter like that even if the game is very good.

SNK Playmore released a bunch of fighters after CVSSNK 2 on PlayStation 2 and OG Xbox. I enjoyed SVC Chaos: SNK Vs. Capcom for its art style and online play. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 was decent. Tekken 6 was garbage. I still have a huge disdain for the SFIV series and SFxTekken. I hate looking at those games. KOFXIII still holds the crown or this gen best fighter in my opinion. I agree, Namco/Bandai will make Tekken x Street Fighter one hell of a game to play.

SNK fell back real bad after CvSNK2 and dropped the dabacle that was KOFXII. They apparently regrouped though with KOFXIII. and tekken 6 was great, awesome in the arcade, introduced unique new charactors (not charactor swaps), and it was smooth as heck and balanced.

The game is going to be made in the Tekken style, correct? This game can come out and be a very good game, but I don't see how it will be over for Capcom. They have the most popular fighters on the market. Tekken is not as popular, and I don't think that another good Tekken game will drastically increase Tekken's popularity to the detriment of Capcom. TT2 wasn't even in this year's Evo until a few days ago.

I'm convinced that Tekken X Street Fighter will be better than SFXT just off the strength on how shytty SFXT was. But I honestly don't even think many will check for it as they do other Capcom related games.

Capcom has got nothing to worry about. Especially if they end up dropping something like a new Darkstalkers or Street Fighter Alpha game. And they're gonna bank on Ultra SF4 whether dudes wanna believe it or not.

They could have made a street fighter 5 by now with all the iterations of 4 they're putting out.

It won't be hard to surpass xTK.

-Don't add gems are any add-ons that alter frame data and/or character advantage
-Don't hide "DLC" on disc
-Don't rush the game's creation
-Don't be a broke ass company who spent half their spending on mobile gaming
-0-Don't end up creating an "ok" game after numerous updates
-1-Don't end up having to copy and paste the cast from the original verses into a different game to save face

Soul Calibur V was the blueprint imo. Since 2D heads don't like stepping or block buttons, SCV simplified evading (and made it more effective than in Tekken), and side walking wasn't as neccessary as previous games. There was also meter, ex moves and super moves just like SF games so I think if they took that engine and threw the TK and SF cats in it, it would work out well enough
