So is Derozan. Am I comparing them? shyt I aint that stupid.
In order to get a top 5 pick you have to TAAAANK. You have to literally go to these players and damn near give bonuses for losses. I think yall are understimating how trash the east and bottom
8 or so teams are. .
If Brooklyn, Cleveland and New York were playing as well as they should it'd be a different story but I dont see it happening anymore.

George is only 9 months older than him too. And next year, this thread will be "Sixers got a core" when they trot out their lineup with potentially Parker or Embiid to go with Noel and MCW.
I agree...we pretty much all wanted to tank but it will be too difficult to tank against the trash in the Eastern conference who were still gonna have to play for about 25 games of the season. Said teams will probably also be looking to tank.I don't see the point in making the playoffs in such a weak conference, especially for a team that doesn't project out to being all that great next year or the year after. This is really short sighted, I can understand wanting to make it to the playoffs, but you couldn't possibly do it at a worse time.
He doesn't have a chance of being on Paul George's level if that's what you're implyingGeorge is only 9 months older than him too. And next year, this thread will be "Sixers got a core" when they trot out their lineup with potentially Parker or Embiid to go with Noel and MCW.
The East is bad now, but some of these awful teams are setup to turn it around quickly, with potentially high impact players.

Unless Chicago, Brooklyn, NY all of a sudden get their shyt right we'll make the playoffs whether we want to or not. So why not embrace it? And watching this team play, yea they could be hot but the potential is there. They're still extremely young. They're post threat and backup PG away from being an East contender it looks like.
I don't think they are setup for the future like that, especially when you look at the Celtics, Sixers and Magic, all of which have made good moves lately, but simply have very young teams. All 3 of those teams will have a chance to add players from this draft.
assShort term success, still think Ujiri pulls the plug on them so they can get a draft pick.
As good as they are playing, they are not built for the long term.
