Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
So is Derozan. Am I comparing them? shyt I aint that stupid.

In order to get a top 5 pick you have to TAAAANK. You have to literally go to these players and damn near give bonuses for losses. I think yall are understimating how trash the east and bottom
8 or so teams are. .

If Brooklyn, Cleveland and New York were playing as well as they should it'd be a different story but I dont see it happening anymore.

I don't see the point in making the playoffs in such a weak conference, especially for a team that doesn't project out to being all that great next year or the year after. This is really short sighted, I can understand wanting to make it to the playoffs, but you couldn't possibly do it at a worse time.

So was T Ross

He doesn't have a chance of being on Paul George's level if that's what you're implying :ld: George is only 9 months older than him too. And next year, this thread will be "Sixers got a core" when they trot out their lineup with potentially Parker or Embiid to go with Noel and MCW.

The East is bad now, but some of these awful teams are setup to turn it around quickly, with potentially high impact players.

I agree...we pretty much all wanted to tank but it will be too difficult to tank against the trash in the Eastern conference who were still gonna have to play for about 25 games of the season. Said teams will probably also be looking to tank.

Utah, Charlotte, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Milwaukee, New York, Lando, LAL...

I cant see us finishing worse than 6 of these teams based on talent alone.

Unless Chicago, Brooklyn, NY all of a sudden get their shyt right we'll make the playoffs whether we want to or not. So why not embrace it? And watching this team play, yea they could be hot but the potential is there. They're still extremely young. They're post threat and backup PG away from being an East contender it looks like.

Nah, if they move Lowry they'd be able to tank properly, but making the playoffs seems to be clouding judgement.

I think Brooklyn and NY will get their acts together, where exactly are they supposed to get this post threat from if nobody will sign there? Also, Lowry is in a contract year, do you really want to bank on him long term :ld: I don't think they are setup for the future like that, especially when you look at the Celtics, Sixers and Magic, all of which have made good moves lately, but simply have very young teams. All 3 of those teams will have a chance to add players from this draft.

You're really only thinking about this season, and nothing more and not looking at the rest of the East and how they project out.

The Knicks, Bobcats, Wizards, Bulls, Pistons, Brooklyn, Orlando and Milwaukee will all be relatively stagnant for the next few years. It's time to go in. Let the Raptors earn some incentive $ and playoff revenue for a change. Give nikkas something to discuss at the Barber shop...fukk it.

Wizards will top off at about a 5 seed between Wall and Beal; they lack depth. Bobcats will stay in that 7,8 seed area at best indefinitely. The Bulls aint shyt to me at this point, they better tank. Melo will probably leave...just a matter of where to (Celtics? Lakers?). Brooklyn is broken. Orlando needs a a good 2 more years to finish rebuild through this draft. Waukee is trash and better hope the lottery doesnt screw them. fukk it.

Overall...
Whatever Ujiri does I'm fine with it

I mean, these nikkas beat OKC on road, Dallas on road, murked the Pacers at home. All at full strength Two more games against MIA and INDY on the road. If they can win one of these you cant tell me youre not impressed even if it is the reg. season

They have been cooking and I'm actually impressed with the wins and how the team is playing right now. They should definitely be tanking though and they'll regret not doing so by next season. Still think Masai is too smart to not notice that this team is basically setting itself up for no mans land and can see Lowry gone real soon.

Wizards should be tanking too but at least we have Wall and Beal to build off of already. Sucks we traded a top 12 protected pick to the Suns for Gortat :trash: ass
though.
