I think the cavs and the wiz are the best teams in the east right now and miami really isn't too far behind (depending on wades health). Pacers are done for this season, bulls success is going to depend on rose's health. I think charlotte is going to have a pretty decent squad.

The only thing I worry about the wizards is the health of nene and lack of depth at the 2/3. Pierce really helped but I'm not sold on porter. And beal doesn't have a great backup. Webster substituting for pierce and beal?

I'm glad ariza is gone though, although he played well, i never really thought he fit well with the team.

As a life long Wizards fan I will agree. But right now I feel the only team fukking with us in the East is the Cavs and maybe the Bulls

Watch for Glen Rice

Very skilled and was worth a 1st rounder in the 2013 NBA Draft.

I forgot about rice. they definitely have depth, which is going to help them a lot if the players time/rotation is managed right. I really think they are setting up a solid team for KD's return. Maybe they'll get KD and Beasley next year old aau teammates.

I'm telling you right now it's Cavs/Bullets

And the Cavs aren't miami they'll be a lot easier to beat in a 7 game series. Hell.. I remember predicting a Miami/Washington ECF finals last year but the Bullers dropped the ball against Indy in Game 6.

Those Miami teams were head and shoulders over the other teams in the east. Bron really opened things back up with the move.

As a sixer fan and most Importantly objective fan of the game it's clear that becsuse of their guard and big(s) play that this team will compete for a top 3 seed if not 2 seed in the east.

The way Lance will be used in charlottes offense has yet to be seen and washington's bigs are more dominate than Charlottes.

As a matter of fact washington probably had the best offseason of any team. I would watch them closely this year.

Would you rather be surrounded by a bunch of fake ass Wizard fans who hope we tank every year, make threads with negative titles, and have openly hated basically every player on the roster, every move by the front office/etc

Hated all that, but we basically the favorites to make it to the finals out the east right now (not clearly the favorites but in the convo)

I watched Pierce shoot & turnover his team out of the playoffs last year despite the fact that Joe Johnson had a hot hand. He's a major downgrade from Ariza.

Wall did the same thing.

Let's slow down on the expectations and just hope that we make the playoffs in a non-tank year.
