Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Why bang in the post when you can shoot 3's and mid range J's? :yeshrug:

:scust:

You can build offenses and defenses around post players.

The next great big man will be here soon, and his arrival will be glorious as I watch you infidels burn in the fiery pits of his low post moves.

Regular season shaq>>> stop comparing him to these scrubs :scust :

Nope, you set up your criteria being PPP, you can't take it back now :scust:

Boogie & Al Jefferson score less PPP than Kyle, I'd ask if you'd take Korver over them but I know the answer since you love watching Ibakaez stand 25 feet from the hoop :scust:

Is that you Scott Brooks?

Cuts to the rim are inconsistent, a good to great post player will always have the same looks available to him :wow:

Also, a great post player creates more cuts to the rim, by drawing defenders toward him, and clearing out the weakside for those leasy-b-easy shovel passes and bounce passes for dunks :banderas:

shout out to the homie Sergio Ibaka, though. Dude went from never playing ball, to developing a silky jumper in three years. :noah:

((If only Reggie Jackson would do the same :sadbron:))

I'm not gonna say it's dead...

Because I know there's a handful of kids out there looking at old clips of Kevin McHale and Hakeem going :krs::banderas::wow:.

And if you go overseas, there's plenty of 6'8"-6'11" guys playing like Marc Gasol.
They'd rather stay in their respective countries and be gods than sit at the back of the bench in the NBA.

And Al Jefferson, Duncan, the Gasols, Randolph (and for some, maybe), Aldridge and Cousins kinda disprove that statement.

But for the most part, a legit post scorer who's game is mainly played 15 feet in will be a rarity (in the US, at least); mainly due to the Highlight Era of sports, lack of post play teachers and selfish guards.

After a kid in middle school watches a few hours of Ballislife and HoopMixTape clips on Youtube of 6'9" dudes handling the ball, shooting two feet outside NBA range and windmill dunking on 5'10" white kids in college... doing Mikan drills and Shaq hops to the middle of the key to work on your post game isn't as exciting or interesting.

And most old heads can't or won't teach big kids (or big boys, anyway) because they don't know good post play or charge ridiculous prices for decent moves. And I know from personal experience.
:snoop:

Finally, selfish guards refuse to pass in the post. So you have bigs thinking
":patrice:So, what do I do...
Play on the block, bang with guys my size, not get the ball on offense; and only be used for rebounding, screen setting, and defense...?
Or do I learn guard skills and do all of that stuff, and get touches in the offense?"

It is what it is.:yeshrug:

At most, Dwight has two (weak) post moves.

How do you work with Olajuwon and don't get any better in the post? :mindblown:

How do you have two hall of fame post players who's moves are legendary and now part of any decent post player's arsenal... on your speed dial... who are more than happy to teach players (look at KG and Jefferson with McHale and countless with Hakeem)....

And you get no better.
