Damn, nikkas wasn't feeling that episode? I thought the shyt was and basically set up the whole season. Start off wit two pigs murking one of said pigs partners and now there's suspicion between one of the killers as he tries to figure out if he got okie doked. We also got an unknown dead nikka in his trunk, murked mafia style. Also got Ziggy mixed up wit crooked cops and a drug kingpin. I thought it was crack

i enjoyed the pilot though, i think i'm gonna enjoy this show

edit: it was a really good pilot actually ...better than Breaking Bads

Wasn't really feeling the pilot. But then again, both Breaking Bad and The Wire had slow starts.

This show really needed to do a bit more to grab the audience with this first episode than they did. The entire show felt like it was just dragging and aside from Lennie James' character I didn't give a shyt about any of the other characters especially that annoying ass female cop.
And Mark Strong's character wasn't that much better than that broad either.
They get one more episode before it gets dumped.

Not a criticism but the dialogue and overall feel is more like a play in a theater than a dramatic TV series. Some of the dialogue back and forth seems like they are talking directly to the audience and not another character.

This shyt was boring as fukk. I had to turn it off about half way through. It's too bad because I would have loved to have a good show to watch after BB.

I thought the 1st episode was alright, it had some moments didn't really grab me. Will continue watching to see how it develops since I am a big fan of Lennie James.
