This is why they say Americans are entitled/mentally soft and companies are looking at immigrants to do the work. That item weighs less than 100 lbs.

I feel bad the kid is about to get ridiculed, but maybe this will wake that kid up for the best.

Somebody found the item:

The reactions from people in that thread pitying him and blaming everyone else are only enabling soft behavior. :snoop:

People really in that thread talkin bout "safety regulations..." That's exactly why this country is screwed. It's a hundred fukking lbs.

No wonder why immigrants be looking at the workforce here like food.
It's not just the weight. It's the angle and how it's pinned him in. Guaranteed you'd be howling too.

I work at Lowes. The machine he's using is a Ballymore. Suppose to be for small things that can rest on the front load area of the machine. Things like lawn mower, microwaves, paint etc. The patio set they got broke the rules. If its hanging off by that much its a safety hazard.

We have machines called order pickers that have a steel pallet on the back that acts as a ground piece to put merchandise on such as tubs, patio sets, water heaters etc. That should have been the machine he used. Cant tell Y'all how many times ive seen someone trying to use the wrong piece of power equipment just because its the quickest thing they could find or because they just dont have their license for the other machines.

Not even the right type of equipment to be loading off a top shelf. apparently none of his coworkers know how to work the machine either

I can right all this up to general incompetence all around but go ahead cook coli its funny and totally normal to laugh at someone's pain

Felt bad for him until I found out the patio set weighs 97lb :francis:

Shame on the person who uploaded it still. Thinking about it, he might have autism which can come with dyspraxia. There's no way someone who is fully functioning should struggle with a 100lb box.

Y’all gotta stop saying this shyt. 100 lbs is not 100lbs depending on how the weight is distributed and the parameters of the item. The problem here is that he is on the wrong piece of equipment so he doesn’t have room to handle the box, he also doesn’t want to lift it straight up because it will have a higher chance of falling and breaking something. He should have used an order picker which actually has space to place that size item without having to hold the weight yourself. I used to unload trucks/containers at FedEx and you cannot go off pure weight to tell how easy something will be to lift/hold.

The heaviest feeling item I ever handled were these small 7”x5” boxes that were 70lbs. You might say “damn, 70lbs ain’t shyt” but I can guarantee you that container of those shyts kicked everyone’s ass that night. If you didn’t have em centered right while you were trying to carry them whatever the fukk was inside would shift and cause you to drop it.

The big boxes didn’t weigh as much but you never wanted to fukk with them while you were on the side of the container because they could pin you. It does not take much weight for a reinforced cardboard corner to hurt your chest.

This box close to 100lbs not 30 and he was in an awkward position. He also used the wrong machine for that. The Supervisor is gonna catch more shyt than the employee

Exactly. And people saying “it’s only 97lbs”. You can fukk up your whole back up on half that amount of weight if you lift it incorrectly. Added with being elevated on a machine and clearly being scared/uncomfortable and shyt could have went real bad. But, of course everything’s a damn joke.
