Nah, this climate here isn't too bad. Winter is no where near what it is in the Midwest or for Cities like NYC or Boston. This weather right now is as bad as it gets temp wise, but I'll bet we'll be in the 40's & 50's by next week. Let's be honest, who wouldn't take our climate over Chicago, or Cleveland or even Boston? By Valentine's Day we'll practically be in Spring.

If you look at our weather by yearly averages, the coldest average high during the winter is like 43 degrees. Again, next to the Southwest, West Coast & Florida, who wouldn't take that? We only average like 12 inches of snow per year, and some years we don't even get any snow if we're lucky.

Again, all these famously cold cities are nice or at least livable in the summer, Downtown Baltimore in the summer is an outdoor sauna.

shyt is the embodiment of horror, breh. I was hoping summer 2013 would be dope to make up for that long ass winter. Nope, wet, and only...7 or so days over 90? We will have our good days, but shyt wont be peaceful till mid-may. Till then if the sun is out and it is bright, it is windy as fukk.
Maybe it is 70 out in April, but its windy and rainy.
Tired of winter and praying for that spring air in April? Nope, here is a snow storm for your troubles.

I spent some time in the Chi... first lemme say it's the only one of the the 3 major metros I've been to, but I fux with the Chi heavy. Haven't been to LA, plan to go soon... and at this point, I'm not even pressed to go to NYC anymore ... but I would legit move to the Chi ...

to me, it still emobodies that old era metropolis with a new age twist... but the weather man. :mindblown: Shyt damn near paralyzed a nicca. And what's so crazy is native chicagoans out there in just a zip up sweater, maybe a slight leather waist jacket, maybe a hat on 32 degree days... I'm out there peacoat, layered, scarfed up. Wind just buck 50'in a nicca. Shyts crazy.

that Lake Effect .. . :banderas:

:banderas:Thats me. In 45 degree weather, im out in tee shirts. 30s, light sweaters. You would get used to it eventually. So many dope places in the City, I would definitely not mind living out
the rest of my life here if it wasn't for fake springs and summers, and long winters. Fall is perfect:wow: Leaves dancing as the wind blows, cute little kids bundled up on
their way to school. shyt is heaven, 50 degrees and colorful. Especially if you are near a college campus or a suburb like Evanston or Skokie. Beautiful areas.

Word man... I was blown away by the Chi (no pun intended) but... i dunno man... i'm from the south couldn't see myself dressing that light. that kinda cold is just... so foreign... it's a different kinda cold. Y'alls 32 is not our 32. but youre right, usually after time, acclimation occurs.

Haha, yea, 32 here is really 25 when the wind kicks in. And realistically depending on where you are, shyt can be night and day. By the lake there is a lot of tall buildings and light-colored
sidewalks. At 25 degrees, anywhere with blacktop and clearskies is gonna feel colder. Under those buildings and white concrete, if the light hits it right, feels 10 degrees
warmer. Biopolar city that way.
