Nah we aint runnin hip hop here in NY but were in a better position then we have been in the last 7-8 years with guys like ASAP Rocky, Action Bronson, Joey Bada$$, Troy Ave ect.

from a pure artistic standpoint, yes, nyc is carrying hip hop on its back. some very interesting sounds are coming out of new york right now. creatively, new york is the only coast keeping real hip hop alive and trying to push it forward.
