Why would any big name coach take this job. You only get 3 full seasons and then fired? Lol. Year 1, he wasn't gonna beat Nick or Kirby.. so thats 2 yrs allotted to win the SEC.. and Lane has never won shyt either and I like Lane.

3 years no playoffs is unacceptable with the 12 team playoff now.

Because outside of Florida and Texas you can make the argument Louisiana has the most talented football players to recruit from in state. And unlike the aforementioned there are no other big schools in da boot. They have a winning culture, a imposing atmosphere, and the cash to compete at the highest level of football.

He wanted to run it back with Ewers this year.. not a great choice but Ewers would def have them one or two in the polls right now.

BK just sucks that’s why they fired him, no need to prolong it if he isn’t the guy. And LSU can do better. What you were saying applies to most teams but LSU can get whoever they want pretty much.

Even still, Kelly wasn't getting it done, and he was a poor hire to begin with. Everyone knew BK's ceiling but somehow that eluded LSU's boosters and administration...but it is the deep south after all
