matter fact.... that spot may as well go head and take the crown for coolest spot of the year.... its gonna take a lot for someone in LU to top that, No one in TNA or ROH topping that.

Man.... so I just am going back and watching this match a little closer and man.... it amazes me how much Marty is a scumming character who stays in character from bell to bell.

Like I noticed throughout the match if you see Marty looking out to the crowd and making gestures or mouthing something... it wasnt really the crowd it was Melissa. Like going back and looking at the angle and keeping awareness to where she was to him.

Like one time he spit blood.... I thought it was at the crowd or just in general but when the cam went to another angle, you see its her and she appropriately reacts in discuss by getting up and walking away behind a tech guy.

Then later in a match, you see and hear Marty tell Melissa "You're gonna be my bytch tonight" And she has this disturbed disgusted and frightened look on her face. The pointing, the tongue gestures, etc... all that was at her

Its crazy the brilliance of him to maintain his creepiness and heel factor in this entire match while putting on a high quality hardcore match

LU continues to prove it's one of the best promotions in the world right now. It certainly is the only place that is consistently doing hardcore/gimmick matches right, incorporating storytelling and psychology instead of just being a bloody spotfest.

The way they took Killshot's character from S1 (remember him and The Mack were supposed to be like cousins or some shyt of Big Ryck) and molded it into this pitch perfect military character is just brilliant. The evolution of Marty The Moth from being a comedy side jobber in S1 to a legit psychotic threat is just baffling. LU really takes its time to let even the minor characters grow and that investment pays off every single time a feud accumulates into a war.

Praise to the Lucha gods. This post is exactly why this is the best wrestling show out. Its everything a wrestling fan could dream of. Only problem is visibility of the El Rey network. One other thing they did which most wrestling companies failed to do is get over a bunch of guys who wear masks and dont speak english. Historically this was a death sentence to a lot of masked guys in the biz and they figured it out. I cant give this show enough credit, to me its probably the GOAT wrestling show through and through.
