Just because the WWE is "the big pool" doesn't mean you can't succeed outside of it. For some people, a change of scenery is the best thing for them. Mundo appears to be a prime example of that, and he's not the only one that's happened to. At this point, I'm not concerned with how/why WWE missed on him. Given the work he is doing now, I'm glad they missed. He's better for it.

Actually, it makes a world of sense. Not everyone is meant for the WWE. The WWE is just one company with one homogenized style. That's not bad or good - it is what it is. But there are lots of talents who just don't fit that framework.

I mean, it pisses me off to this day that Chris Hero did not pan out in WWE. But hey, the WWE isn't meant for everybody (or in some people's cases, they aren't meant for WWE at that stage in their life/career) and that doesn't change that Hero is, at least in my estimation, one of the 10 best all-around wrestlers in the world today, at minimum.
