What a great match... Even if you take away the insane spots it would still be great. Whoever is working behind the scenes at Lucha is the fukking man. The way this match was put together is excellent. Tired of people saying "they told a story out there" when they just half ass worked a single body part, thats bullshyt. This is telling a story, and not only that, it was layered. Love it.

Wrestling lives on thru LU. Crazy how fukking terrible everything else is compared to this show.

Only wack thing was no post credits but I get it.

Yea, I hate that shyt too. Cats be watching dudes put niccas in like 5 minute headlocks, chop chop, clothlines, armbar and niccas be like "this is telling a story... this is awesome"

It's crazy how Lucha Underground can somehow have these amazing one match shows or like the episode with Pentagon vs Japan (probably my favorite episode so far). This shyt is so good.

It's amazing how they produce these Iron Man matches without any serious dead spots. I know LU is edited so they can cut out some of the slower parts but even then the rest moments like Mundo faking his injury all tell a story. And I think at this point we should start having a serious discussion about where we rank Johnny Mundo because he might legit be top 5 in the business right now. And The Mack? shyt, who would have ever thought that this fat black dude from Missouri would end up being the greatest successor to the Stone Cold character? Add his freakish athleticism and you got one weirdly talented guy.

I think its due to the way LU produces these guys, works with the wrestlers, and puts them in great stories. Heard a famous B interview and he said the creative lets him throw out ideas about his character...since obviously he knows his character better than anyone else. Sounds like a great environment for everyone working there.

Mack woulda been a total jabroni in WWE just due to how their show works. Prob a lot of WWE guys would have thrived in Lucha... I mean look at Del Rio or Big Ryck. fukking great in Lucha, terrible in the E.

Same with Japan, ECW, and to some extent, TNA. Vince rarely gets anybody over. Other territories let guys get themselves over.

That was a dope ironman match. Definitely one of the better ones ive seen. No boring moments, hardnosed believable combat, dope spots, mad heat, great character work/sport entertainment and dope storytelling throughout. Good to see this show back. Best weekly show this industry has.

And that makes ANOTHER promotion who has no problem putting black men in the title picture before you know who. You can't make this shyt up.

With Raw being 3 damn hours long they need to be booking "Who ever has the most victories in 30 minutes wins" matches with some of their talent

Dude, WWE has too much talent, not too little.

They've literally raided TNA, Japan, and the indies and yet they STILL can't produce a decent 3 hour show.

They've got enough talent to put on 5 hr shows, but have no idea what to do with it.

secondly, I gotta admit. Since LU started, I cringe every time Johnny grabs his neck/right shoulder after a move.

Third , Johnny been one of the best heels in the world for a good while now. I said it in the other thread. Only reason he doesn't get the props is cause he's on LU. But he be killing it every time. Only other heel in the world I got on his all around level is Naito.
