Yeah, they should have won in 5 games instead of 6 had Love and Irving been in and playing porous defense.
@You thinking the finals was the only series they played against a team with key players missing.@You thinking the finals was the only series they played against a team with key players missing.
@ you thinking Patrick fukking Beverely would have stopped them last year.

Or perhaps if Mike Conley was playing at 95% instead of 70%, right?
Who else am I missing? Oh yeah, Omer Asik might have had the flu Game 4 of the Pelicans series so we can throw that series out as well.

If you zoom in on those rings, I think you can see an asterisk engraved in 'em.![]()

Let's see GSW beating the Cavs with two starters, say Curry and Green, missing then.

Ban bet these soft ass nikkas don't win the chip this year![]()

if the Warriors deserve an asterisk then so do the '89 Bad Boys Pistons
they benefited from a lot of opponents' key players being injured too
but they beat who was in front of them, which is the name of the game.
look it up
nikkas sposed to wait until everybody on every team is at optimal condition?![]()
And why would I be opposed to that?
opposed to what?
affixing an asterisk to a Pistons team who possibly benefited from key injuries opposing teams suffered in the playoffs and finals?
or literally waiting until everybody on every team in the playoffs is completely healthy and at peak physical condition before starting the playoffs?
if you wanna take your point of view to it's logical conclusion you might as well affix an asterisk to every win that occurred when opposing teams didn't have key players for whatever reason, in any sport. rendering regular season records illegitimate also, as well as the playoff seeding that resulted from those records. how far do you wanna take it?
The Warriors' opponents had more key players missing than any NBA champion in history that you can name, including that Pistons squad.
