In real time, DTP was originally going to produce the Hustle and flow soundtrack prior to the stomp record. After the stomp record, politics took place outside of the public eye and the Hustle and flow soundtrack was produced by Grand Hustle, which went on to win a Grammy and had commercial success. No musical shots fired by T.I. I’d say that was a win for Grand Hustle at the time, as that was one of his biggest projects up to that date.
