This was when the fall-off started.

Chicken & Beer was his last dope album. So that's like 4 albums in a row, that were quality, since like '99. But after '03, he was chasing radio records that were all mid. By the time Red Light District dropped, he was still selling, but the music was weak.

One of the first albums I bought

Virgo and Who Not Me were my favorites

Took a while to like The Potion and that hook on Large Amounts

This is like an entirely alcohol/youth/sex/love influenced album, listening to some of this now, pretty bad.

"We do 3/4 drops and we bring a brick back" that was line I thought was so dope?!

heard this album hungover so many times, and like drunk at 4:00 AM

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
Was probably the only person who has Luda in their ATL mountain rushmore...

But RLD was not it.

There was too much head releasing about 2004 and this got lost in the myst.

If anything, I-20's Self Explanatory >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Red Light District (and not even close, and yes, mostly true because Luda
was chasing radio friendly singles but the production on RLD was so putrid and forgettable... shame because Luda has connections and ties to every
single hot producer and also at his disposal and he gave us that trash).

Naw, i can't advocate for it. I'd rather bumper Golden Grain than RLD.

This was the end of Luda to me. I still really enjoyed the album but I remember bumping Purple Haze and Streets Disciple more that winter

His next release is when he fell off IMO and ironically won a Grammy for it lol

Honestly I thought this album was just okay. Don't get me wrong it had a few bangers like

#1 Spot
Large Amounts
Spur of the Moment
Get Back

But the 1st 3 albums are all better, imo.
