Not defending Saurez' recent actions, but again, I don't understand the issue with what he did against Ghana. What should the call have been though?

If a defending player does a similar thing in hockey (gloving puck in goalie crease and swatting it away, it results in a penalty shot also.) Can't give them a free goal in either sport for that. They should have nailed the penalty shot.

Unless you want to make a case that it's more of a goaltending offence like in basketball.

If you are so great why dive to win a penalty against Cardiff in the first 23 minutes? Then go on to win 4-0 anyway? A lot of his goals this season are tainted and he will never go down as one of the GOATS.

Using the rules cynically is a part of every game.

Guy is going for an uncontested dunk/layup in basketball? Foul him. Have him earn his points on the line.

Refs can hand out yellows for simulation. Blame them for not enforcing the rules.
Just because you don't like him, doesn't make things tainted. He's already one of the best in the world, there's no way we can say he'll never be one of the greats. Cheating Maradona is an all time great. He has a chance as well.
