This team is so bad and so poorly constructed. Trades gutted the team. Obviously Kristaps being hurt fukks us. But the fact we're still able to compete vs average to above-average teams shows just how good flabby slovenian fortnite and bagel bites is.
It was painful to watch Dirk last night. Legit got borderline mad a couple times at how awful he's become. I didn't think his shooting would just...vanish. Looking like Ben Simmons from 3 out there.
DFS didn't even show up last night.
I thought the team was good too. Went on a losing streak when Dennis was out. But once he got back they won again. Luka shoots too many 3’s

Here's what frustrates me with this team/organization.
We tanked year 1 and got DSJ.
Team was probably good enough to make the playoffs but we tanked again. Traded up and got Luka. Also, added DJ as a key free agent pickup.
Bench is probably the best it's been in years. Added some firepower to the lineup and now the team is worse?
So we blow it up. What direction is this team going in?
Can't continue to build through the draft cause we we're winning too much plus we've gotten rid of our draft picks.
Is the thought now that we can land a key free agent? Not likely.
It's yet to be seen what the team will do but they're just waddling in the waters right now.

I'm sure the top 5 picks in the draft have made their respective teams happy.
This roster needs a complete overhaul and I don't see them surpassing any of the 4 teams in front of us for the 8th seeds. We got a max slot but wont generate interest from a max slot player. It's gonna be Barnes 2.0 again.

Team misses JJ Barea. His spark off the bench has not been replaced. Brunson looks overwhelmed at times. He needs to become a more consistent outsider shooter. Luka needs to improve his FT shooting and be more selective with his 3 pt shot. Only Derek Harper calls him out for that circus shyt he be doing sometimes. Other two buffoons are just counting rebounds/assists all game..."luka triple double watch". They also miss having DJ got those easy dunks on offense. Everything looks so labored on offense post-trade.
The teams 2nd best player is out and the 3rd best player is THJ, how do yall expect this team to look. Next yr we'll see what this team is really about.

In a couple years, we should be contending for top 3 Western seed annually.
Harden can only put up 40 every night for so long and that crippling CP3 contract... Spurs with an actively decaying Aldridge and a been peaked Derozan.
There's very few teams that are positioned with young blue chip pieces the way we are. Like dude said above me, our 2nd best player hasn't played yet and we have a ton of cap space. Let it play out. See what happens.
