Philly bouls, Trust the Process
When I first started following Luka when he was 16 at Real Madrid I thought he was the next Bird for more reasons that just bein a white boy

I tried to convince myself of otherwise later, but nah son he the truth truth :wow:

If KP can comeback to form, then sheeeesh. The team still needs more work, but Luka alone is a huge building block

MJ averaging 37 wasnt a product of pace. It was a product of him shooting 28 times a game on a bad team. That 86-86 season, the next leading scorer was nique with 29ppg. There were only 6 players to average 25ppg that season. Not the best example. With the spacing and player movement rules of today, offense is much easier and way less of a grind. Combine that with the increase in possessions and it's not difficult to understand how numbers have become inflated.
So him taking 28 shots had nothing to do with pace :dead:

The 80’s was one of the highest scoring eras in NBA history and was one of the fastest

No. it has to do with his approach to the game and his aggressiveness. He averaged 24 FGA throughout the 90's and that's with him playing with another hall-of-Famer. I won't even get into the amount of shots he used to put up in the playoffs. The idea that Jordan averaging 37ppg was a product of pace is 100% bs.

No, he didn’t he averaged around 22-23 FGA in the 90’s.

And obviously it isn’t 100% a product of pace. Luka and Harden’s stats aren’t either obviously all three of their teams are heavily reliant on them with usage rates around 40%. And they are exceptionally talented.

Right now what you’re arguing is the fastbreaking 100+ possession 80’s, offense and pace was one of the main talking points of the NB80’s docs didn’t have “inflated” stats.

also for nikkas tahm bout Larry Bird would struggle in this era :mjlol:

Man would eat.

You fit the bill of the quote. Nothing else needed to be said, have a nice day:mjgrin:
:usure:
There's some truth to this, and is typically not acknowledged by folk who can't see how better the game is today. But Bird's skillset would translate over to ANY era. If you took Larry right outta his period and placed him in this era, it would probably take him a season to acclimate to today's league, but he would still be dominant.
Now go kill yourself. Please. And thank you.

Dude is a legit good player doesn't take away from the dozen or so great Black basketball players, it's ok to acknowledge him as an up and coming player Doesn't make what Trae Young is doing any less significant (because that's the real conversation we're having).

Its the truth. Boris was taller but in terms of style and skillset they are similar.

Give Boris Diaw a better diet and the ball every possession like Luka and he woulda put up these numbers.

Luka is good, but I saw this hype train coming. Cuban wants this. Luka is a good player but if you watch him closely, I dont see what it is that he does that is actually "special". The defenses I seen him play against are weak. I havent seen him do anything special, and thats not hate thats being honest. He is a good ballhandler/playmaker. I know people will always say the Mavs got rid of DSjr because he sucks but the fact of the matter is....there is not room on that team for another primary ballhandler. Luka's star status is more important to the Mavs than a title. If we are running with stats then Harden is better than Jordan, Kobe, etc. This era of basketball is kinda :scust: Luka has a nice step back 3, he is in an elite class with Harden in that regard but the true measure of how good he is/will be is winning. He doesnt have to win it all but he needs to show at a high level in the postseason that he is more than just numbers.

The nba should just be honest and not have a full roster for all team defense one of these years. Just nominate the 5 or 6 players that actually do play d and leave the other spots vacant just to send a message to the league. Never have i seen an era of one dimensionaly players who can drop 30 on a given night and be trash on the other end.

Yall buggin. Straight buggin

Luka is not touching Giannis.

Equal offense plus top 5 defense. Dont forget about the real GOAT of this era

Luka is a great young player no doubt. But we all know with players like Giannis if your organization is worth their salt. Dudes like Giannis can win you multiple titles because they play offense and defense.

Thats why I have been saying for the last 2 years about Giannis. If Giannis stays healthy and has a long career this kat will go down as the greatest european player to ever play in the NBA. Cause there has never been a European player in the NBA this good who was a two way player and this dominant on the offensive and defensive ends.

In about 3 or 4 years this will be his league barring injuries. Cause the old guard like Lebron will be old and because he Giannis will reach a point where his BBIQ will match his athletic ability (something kats like Barkley and Kenny Smith always mention).

Yep even my old man who is in his 60s says the NFL and NBA stats are inflated. This an old man that been watching the NFL and NBA since the 1960s.

But hey sports is nothing more than bread and circus anyway. Anything to distract the masses.

On the real I want to see a kat like harden avg 40 a game. And have the 2nd best record in the west. Just to see media folks make up excuses why he shouldn't get the MVP...:mjlol:

Can't take these clowns serious after Nash had two MVPs and Kobe and Shaq got one a piece..:francis:
