The fact you took this whole discourse this far is disturbing. It REALLY ain't that serious. We all know luka isnt lebron
I like talking about basketball. You like talking about me. 100,000 words on actual basketball players is more worthwhile than 10 words on some random person you don't even know. Stop the chatty patty shyt, if you don't like basketball talk I'm sure there's a teeny pop forum you can join.

LeBron at the same age was averaging 31-7-7 on better shooting in a MUCH lower paced era with far more athleticism and better defense.
Durant at 6 months older was averaging 30-8-3 with far better shooting in a somewhat slower paced era.

.
Lebron was not more efficient when factor in how many 3s luka takes. His TS% is much higher.

And 6.6 assists per game is not 7 asts.

How does 6.6 not round to 7, you demand people write the tenths every time they post stats? I also wrote 31 instead of 31.4 but you didn't complain about that. :why:

Look at Luka's lineup and look at LeBron's lineup.

Look at the 100.2 pace the Mavs play at and look at the 89.1 pace LeBron's Cavs played at.

Look at how open the game is today (especially with 3pt shooters all over the court) compared to how congested it was in 2006 (especially when Cavs had ZERO shooters around LeBron in the starting lineup).

Luka's higher TS% comes from making free throws, from taking 0 midrange shots, and from the game being much more wide open than it was before. LeBron was shooting better than him and finishing better than him, he just didn't have the luxury of taking all his shots from three or the rim because it was a different era with different teammates.

If you seriously think that Luka at 20/21 is a better player than Bron at 20/21 you can't possibly have been conscious in 2006.

Other than that the era happens to have a lot of late bloomers, but so what? Doncic has already been a full-time pro for four years so he's much closer to his peak form than most 20/21 year olds. He's nowhere near the best player in the league and with his athletics limitations and still only mediocre shot I wouldn't bet on him ever getting there.

I ain't saying he ain't really, really good. I was one of the ones killing people for underrating him when he was drafted. But now it's going the other way and some of y'all are way overrating him just because he puts up numbers.

Just because there's been some injuries. Since you were trying to compare his season to a season where MJ only played 6 games I figured you were considering injuries irrelevant, otherwise you being disingenuous.

OK boomer :troll:

Because the .4 is dozens of assists short and is not an accurate representation. Rounding up doesnt work in sport statistics.
