This is true but cats like Kyrie and Reaves have been able to put up numbers anyway despite his reliance on dominating the basketball. So i don't think it's really a problem until his jumper isn't falling as it hasn't been this season so far. He should scale back a bit on the 3's and drive a bit more. Nico was right when he made the trade and he’s even more right now. He should’ve got a bigger (or better) return but his line of thinking was spot on.

Luka did his usual “look at my lean body” routine in October, ran his numbers up through November, and now is back to his usual not defending, not running back and not impacting games.

He is WASHED. He can’t get by anybody anymore which is why he’s shooting 12 3s a game at 32%. He’s the oldest 26 year old in the league.

The only way the Lakers turn it around is by finding a true 2-way star to go next to him, à la a J-Dub or Jaylen Brown type
