Pisses me the fukk off.

Dallas (cac) Mavs fans are still mad at Nico (not Adelson or Dumont).....and Luka is literally proving that he was half-azzing it and could have done more to stay in shape.

He ate like shyt, got nagging injuries but was still good enough to be All-NBA.

Luka is proving that Nico was right. It was a dumbazz trade, but Luka didn't give 100% off the court. Now he's "motivated".

I don't get it how he is skinny in the off season then fat in the regular season. Should be the other way around
Gilbert Arenas said he would put on 20 pounds during the season because of room service, going to dinner every night, and partying in the hotels. He said players would justify it because they thought playing 30 minutes in a game would burn it off. Said it's way easier to get in shape during the off season than during the regular season.
Yeah. It's the same with wrestlers. When they're out they usually come back in great shape, then lose it while back on the road.

I assume it has to deal with a lack of consistency of a eating schedule/workout routine

Good for Luka.

The question is whether this weight loss means he will improve defensively.

Even as a heavier player he’s always been able to find his game offensively.

Conditioned or not, defense is about effort to some degree. So you’d hope that with a change in physique comes a change in mentality on that side of the ball.

Luka Doncic said he took a "huge step" in improving his health and conditioning this summer, adding that his "whole body looks better" after spending the past two months training in Croatia.
In a report published Monday that includes multiple photos of a significantly thinner Doncic, Men's Health Magazine detailed the Los Angeles Lakers star's offseason diet and fitness regimen.
Doncic and his team told Men's Health that he has stuck to a gluten-free, low-sugar diet that includes intermittent fasting and high levels of protein -- at least 250 grams per day.
Like folks said, the main concern is if he can stay on the diet.

It'll be tough, especially those moments when the team is on a losing streak and In-N-Out is right down the block with Randy's Doughnuts next door
